Question: 

I slept with wet underwear. When I woke up I still find it wet. I didn't recall any wet dream. I thought it was water. I made Wudhu, went to the Masjid and led Salaah. After coming back from the Masjid, I started having doubts as to whether it was semen or not. Is the Namaaz valid. If not what should I do to compensate for the Salaah of the Muqtadiis? 

Answer: 

The validity of your Salah totally depends on your state of purity; therefore, you are required to determine whether that was the moisture, water or is there doubt whether it was water, semen, Madhi (a white sticky prostatic fluid), Wadi (secretion of prostrate which usually discharges after urination)? If the wetness that you encountered was merely the moisture of water as mentioned in the query, your Salah will be valid.i However, if you were in doubt whether the moisture was from semen or something else, it will be mandatory to perform an obligatory bath and, consequently, you will have to repeat the Salah and inform your congregation to repeat their Salah as well.ii
