Answer: 

It is permissible to keep Muatta Imam Malik Rahimahullah at the time of delivery for ease in delivery keeping in mind its sanctity and respecting the wordings of Rasoolullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam. It is tried and tested as mentioned by Sheikh ul Hadith Moulana Muhammad Zakariyya Kandehlawi Rahimahullah in his invaluable commentary on Muatta Imam Malik Rahimahullah (known as Awjaz ul Masalik Vol. 1 Pg. 93).
