I wanted some advice
on a new job I just started and whether it is allowed and okay to work here

I will admit I did not
do full due diligence before accepting the job hence my question

The
company manages critical incidents in the car and home on behalf of the
world’s leading insurers, brokers and fleet managers, together with warranty
and service plan provision for many automotive manufacturers globally.

I work for a specific
subset within the company where work from our offices globally comes to SA and
we charge our offices in those countries for doing the work.

On the onset, we would like to mention that we are very pleased to hear about your concern regarding earning a Halāl income. May Allah Ta'aala protect us all from Harām and bless us with Halāl and pure earnings! Amīn!

If we take a look at the Qur’ān and Ahādīth of Rasūlullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam, we will find that we have been prohibited from indulging in sin and evil. In the same manner, we have been prohibited to assist and help others in sin and transgression. Allah Ta'aala mentions in the Qur’ān:

وتعاونوا على البر والتقوى ولا تعاونوا على الاثم والعدوان )سورة المائدة - 2 )

“Assist each other in good works and Taqwa and do not assist each other in sin and transgression.”

Therefore, it is of utmost importance for one to refrain from such avenues that help and support in sin and transgression.

After having a look at the works and doings of the company you are currently working for, Innovation Group, in our understanding, the company promotes and involves themselves with many different insurance companies, brokers, and banking and financial institutes. Many of these companies are involved in insurance schemes and other transactions that are against the teachings of Sharī’ah. Hence, one’s salary and income will be tainted with doubtful earnings, while one will also be indirectly assisting in the promotion of many un-Islamic transactions.

Therefore, our advice to you would be make a concerted effort to find another job that would be free of any doubtful earnings, and free of assisting in any un-Islamic transactions. In the meantime (while you are currently employed and are making an effort to find another job), you should continue to repent to Allah Ta'aala for being involved in such an occupation and make sincere Du’ā to Allah Ta'aala that He grants you a Halāl, pure form of earning.

May Allah Ta'aala grant us the true understanding of his Dīn and practice upon it. Amīn!
