Question: 

A
group of 10 men go to a small town 25 km from their home for a hike. By Jumuah time, they will be in this little town. But, in this small town, since there
are less than 4 men living there, the Jumuah Salaat does not usually take place. (You
should know that in this small town, there is a Mussalla for vacationers).

When a group of 10 men go to this small town will the Salat of Jumuah be Wajib
on these people or not?

Some say that given that there are more than 4 of them, they will have to do
it.

Others say that given the Jumuah Salaat is not usually done in this small
town, the Jumuah Salaat is not wajib.

Answer: 

Salaatul Juma’ah is Wajib for those people staying in a big town/city. As for those staying in a small town/village, it is not Wajib upon them to make Salaatul Jumu’ah. i
