The Fatwa Kitaabs state that if a person greets and congratulates others on the day of Eid by saying, May Allah Ta'aala accept your fast, Taraweeh and Qurbani then such a greeting encourages one to carry out acts of worship, and it is a Dua at the same time. This act is Mustahab and proven from authentic narrations. Therefore, there is no harm in it [Re:- Fataawa Ibaadur Rahman Pg. 214 Vol. 3].

However, greeting on the day of Jumuah with the words of ‘Jumuah Mubarak’ is not proven, hence we advise abstention; especially in this era when it has taken on the form of a custom and innovation.
