Question:
event of breakthrough bleeding during the days of Hajj or Tawaaf Ziyaarah, what
do I do? I am taking a contraceptive pill to avoid my menstrual cycle but
there's no guarantee. What do I do about Tawaaf Ziyaarah as I leave 3 days
after Hajj back for home.
2. If a
Damm is due for a Fardh of Hajj like Tawaaf Ziyaarat then must it be done in
the same year in the city of Makkah?
Answer:
1. If a lady experiences Haidh/Nifaas before performing Tawaaf uz Ziyarah and she makes no arrangements to delay the journey/flight to facilitate her to complete her Tawaaf uz Ziyarah in the state of purity and she performs her Tawaaf uz Ziyarah while using sanitary pads in the state of impurity; she will be liable to slaughter a Badanah (camel, cow) and her Hajj will be completed and she will be sinful. However, if she becomes pure before departing and she performs her Tawaaf uz Ziyarah, she will not be liable to slaughter anything since she has completed all the rituals. (Ghunyatun Nasik Pg. 272)
2. If one performs Tawaaf uz Ziyarah in the state of Haidh/Nifaas, the offender will slaughter Badanah (cow, camel) in the Haram. Although, the time is not fixed for it, yet one is advised to carry out this obligation as soon as possible as there is no guarantee of life. (Ghunyatun Nasik Pg. 358)
