Two girls
are graduating as Aalimah's this year In Sha Allah. 

They
planning on giving a joint sindi at their Jalsa.

Their Jalsa
is a ladies only function. 

So if they put their names on the sindi or say the daughter of so and so,is it fine?

Answer: 

It is permissible to give gifts and write their names as mentioned in the query as long as both are not regarded to be necessary. To regard this to be necessary is incorrect in Shariah. (Darul Uloom Deoband - Fatwa #9244)
