1. In the enquired case, it is disliked in Shariah for a woman who is experiencing Haidh/Nifaas to bathe the Mayyit; however, if she did bathe the deceased, it will be permissible with abomination.i

2. It is permissible for a woman to sit by the Mayyit; however, she should try to sit a bit far from the Mayyit. Moreover, if one avoids sitting, it would be better.ii

Note: The above-mentioned ruling is common and applies to everyone.
