Sunnats of Fajr during Jamaat

Question:

I went to the masjid expecting jamaat at 5. It was 4:45

I rushed to another masjid reached there as the imaam got on the musala

In such instances what must be done about the 2rakats before fajr

Can it be read when the imaan is on the musala and iqmah has begun?

What is best?

Answer:

Sunnats after English lecture in Jumu'ah

Question:

Regarding the time
given for sunnats before jummah salaah, what is noticed is that in those
masaajid where time is given to perform sunnats after the english lecture, many
if not most of those present perform their sunnats and also fill up the gaps in
the saffs resulting in those standing outside the masjid finding place in the
masjid before the commencement of the khutbah as oppose to those masaajid where
time is not given late comers either perform their sunnats during the English

Repeating Salaat due to eating

Question:

If a person eats or drinks after the Sunnah of Fajr or Thuhr, before Jamaat, does he have to repeat the Sunnah?

Answer:

Eating food at any stage after the Sunnat Salaah does not affect the validity of one’s Wudhu or Salaah, hence the Salaah is valid and one will not be required to repeat the Sunnats.
