Question:
Is it permissible to do دباغت from snake skin ? As a عبارت from فتح القدير shows it will not become pure to use after دباغت .
قَوْلُهُ وَكُلُّ إهَابٍ دُبِغَ فَقَدْ طَهُرَ) يَتَنَاوَلُ كُلَّ جِلْدٍ يَحْتَمِلُ الدِّبَاغَةَ لَا مَا لَا يَحْتَمِلُهُ، فَلَا يَطْهُرُ جِلْدُ الْحَيَّةِ وَالْفَأْرَةِ بِهِ كَاللَّحْمِ)
Is this the preferred view in the madhab or not ?
